Chilling Out At Trigg Beach

I really enjoyed my day yesterday. why? I had so much fun with my cell members yesterday. In the morning so happened I messaged Jaclyn at 9.50am asking her whether I could follow her and Evangeline for grocery shopping and guess what?. She messaged me back saying ya sure, could you come and fetch us from our house? We waited for the bus for about half an hour now and it still has not arrived yet.

However, when they were walking back to their house 2 minutes later the bus arrived so Jaclyn messaged me again saying: Hey, we will meet you at Carousel then. Well, I met her and Evangeline at Carousel and we went grocery shopping together until 12 in the afternoon. Sent them back, cooked lunch and chilled at home until 5 something in the evening.

I went to Trigg Beach in the evening with Brandon, Vivien, Jin and Cindy just to chill, have fun and relax. I also tried boogie boarding for the first time, managed to borrow the boogie boards from Cindy's housemate. Brandon, me and Jin were the only 3 swimming in the beach while Cindy and Vivien were busy taking photos most of the time.

We went for dinner at a fish & chip shop after our beach outing and had Gelato ice cream for desert. I really enjoyed myself because I got to know all of them better and I really enjoy going to the beach so ya that is already enough to convince me why I would not do it again soon. hahahahaha. Choir Easter Video

I sang in the choir for the Easter Celebration last Sunday and boy was the song awesome. I felt that deep down inside it was so powerful that it just blew people away man. The song also has so much meaning to it that deep down inside I felt wow, what a song! what a song! Everybody in the choir sang so well, it was simply amazing.

I manage to get the video for the choir, you can see me in it and to tell you the truth, I managed to smile the whole time the song was sang, amazing! that was pretty amazing actually because I have not smiled like that before in front of a large audience and it was like for 8 minutes some more. couldn't believe it, i just couldn't believe it!

well the video quality is not too good but reasonable, hahahaha. enjoy the video!

Long Easter Weekend Holiday

i got 4 days off from work, i got 4 days off from work! i am so happy, having 4 days off from work is a good thing to me because I really need a break from work. At least when i go back to work tomorrow I would be fully recharged and ready to roll again. got a few tax deadlines to meet at the end of the month so hopefully I do not have to stay back till very late for the next few days.

today is actually the last day of my 4 day easter break so ya I had an enjoyable holiday so far. sang for choir during the easter service, really loved the song, I reckon it was awesome and thanks to Usha who is our choir leader, she chose the right song! its called "A Christmas Medley" by Israel Houghton. i reckon the song really touched people's hearts. everything went well yesterday, i enjoyed the service: dance, drama, choir, message, everything. really really inspiring.

I also went sailing with my cell on Friday evening at Mill Point. it was really fun, it was my first time sailing. can't imagine, been in Perth for 4 years now and have not gone sailing even once. I enjoyed steering the sail boat, sometimes it went very fast and sometimes it went very slow depending on the wind. I was on the same boat with Soon Kit and Rima's brother, forgot his name already. hahahahaha.

Busy As A Bee

wow, i have never been stretched so much in my life till i came back from my holidays on the 19th Of February. I have just been swamped with stuff and activities every single day after work since I got back. It can be fair to say that ya it was also my choice to get involved but boy now I know the feeling once you get in.

I reckon Monday is my only free day because Tuesday and Thursday I got choir practice, Wednesday I got YA Cell group or Zion Leaders Meeting. Friday I got PASSION cell group, saturday well it depends actually. I guess got church activities going on until maybe after Easter when it will slowly cool off a bit.

anyways, the weekend is near and I cannot wait for the long 4 day Easter break next weeekend because need a long break. When you start working you just seem to realise how important time is to you and how much time you want to use it productively. Putting first things first, saying it is easy but doing it is hard.

Thank God Today Is A Public Holiday

you guys must be thinking why did thomas put that heading? Thank God today is a public holiday? yes, it is such a relief for me that today so happens to be Labour Day in Australia which also means I do not have to go to work today. Its good because I like the timing, for me today being a public holiday just seems so right. I actually get to organise myself and my stuff since I got back 2 weeks ago because since I got back, I have been going out almost every night and today is the first day that I stayed at home the whole day since I got back. Amazing huh?

Been going out for core group meetings, cell group, choir practice, the Russell Peters show, Julia's 22nd birthday party, so many things man have been happening for the past 2 weeks. I am so happy because at least everything now is under control and I am all fired up for work tomorrow morning. I just came to realise that its actually the beginning of March already and the 2 weeks since I got back has just gone by in a blink of an eye.

The only days in the week that I am free from now on are Thursday nights and Saturday nights. I seem to have something on every other night. The list goes like this:-

Monday nights - Swimming/Dinner with the swimming gang.
Tuesday nights - Bible study
Wednesday nights - Core Group meeting
Thursday nights - ??????
Friday nights - PASSION Cell Group
Saturday nights - ??????
Sunday nights - Badminton/Dinner with badminton gang.

I mean for Monday and Tuesday nights I have a choice of not going for swimming and bible study but I will try and make it a point to go if I can unless I really have something important to do. So ya cool, hopefully everything would work out well considering I have quite a few ministries to juggle as well : Badminton, Rezource, Coffee, Projectionz and PASSION. Time management thomas, time management and priorities first!
