Yao Tsing (Play To Win, Have The Desire To Win ): June 2008

Thats right, the month of June is really in fact the month of birthdays. Not only birthdays but 21st birthdays! I just had a surprise birthday for one of my cell members, Jaclyn and boy was she surprised. I myself did not really expect it because actually the plan to surprise her was wrecked. it was wrecked in a way that was coincidental.

Me, Brandon and Ansley came at 12 midnight on the Sunday morning, the 15th of June which was Jaclyn's real birthday. The 3 of us were suppose to climb above the wall to her house because we could not use the front entrance, Jac's room was just in front so we were worried that she might hear our footsteps.

However, just when Cheah Yen was going to open the sliding door to give us a chair so we could climb over the wall, out comes Jaclyn from her room and she saw Cheah Yen opening the sliding door. She said: " Cheah Yen, what are you doing opening the sliding door in the middle of the night?" she started to have that mysterious look on her face and said to Cheah Yen:" Is there somebody outside?" cheah yen knew that Jac had found out at that moment and so honestly said to her: yes, thomas is outside".

when she told us that Jac had knew about our surprise plan, i was thinking to myself: "oh no!, not again, another surprise plan failed!!!!" In that very moment, I looked at Brandon and Ansley and said to them" lets just go back, no fun already because Jac Jac found out about our surprise plan". the funny thing was when we were about to go, cheah Yen came out of the house and she looked angry because she wanted us to come in. "Where are you guys going?" she said. the 3 of us looked at her and said: we are going home now, the plan has failed so no more fun already".

I drove off in the car and left and stopped at a house nearby. i said to Brandon and Ansley: hey guys, there must be another way to surprise her, i know there is a way one. Jaclyn is not that smart one,I am sure we can figure something out". I then came up with a brilliant idea, I said to them" Why don't we go back to the house and try and find a way in since now Cheah Yen, Evan and Jac thought we were really going home. The funny thing was cheah yen and Evan called and they were really angry because they wanted us to go back to the house since we came to surprise her already.

I felt sorry for Brandon because he answered my mobile phone when they called. I was driving so i could not answer the call and they sounded so angry on the phone so Brandon also was speechless, the 3 of us, me , Brandon and Ansley just looked at each other and laughed.

I can write about the whole surprise story but to cut the long story short, we managed to get into Jac's house thanks to Boon Wai and Yivonne. We managed to sneak into her room and surprise her after one minute because she was facing the window talking to Jimmy on the phone and only realised there were people behind her when she started to push the chair towards us who were standing at the back.

It was funny though because she was more scared rather than surprised. she actually cried somemore but i knew the tears from her eyes were tears of happiness not sadness. Hope you had a memorable birthday jac jac! Happy 21st Birthday!
