Goodbye 2007, Welcome 2008 Part 3

it has already been one week since i last wrote on my blog. wah already 10 days into the new year, unbelievable man. i was suppose to continue where I left of the last time which was about reflecting the year 2007 and how it has impacted my life.

well to cut it short i guess the one thing that really impacted me in 2007 was the badminton outings that i have been playing every sunday from 6 to 8pm. awesome, i enjoyed playing and also talking to people who were there. its just one of the things i look forward to every week, playing badminton to exercise and also getting to know people who came along to play.

I guess talking about that, I took up the challenge this year to bring the badminton game onto a whole new level. I decided to make it a ministry in Zion Praise Harvest and I want to thank Da Yong, Darrel and Janice for volunteering to help me run this ministry. I know it would be tough for me to run the ministry all by myself and thats why I a so blessed to have the 3 of them help me out. Thanks a lot guys!

Another highlight of my year would be swimming every Monday mainly with George but sometimes with Joel as well. I really enjoyed swimming with the both of them because we always talk about our day, our interests and our passion for things in life which is just absolutely amazing. I have also grown stronger in terms of my relationship with the both of them and learned a lot about the bible and christ through Joel.

He is just an unbelievable brother to me and knowing his teaching and sharing has opened up my eyes to a lot of new things in this world and knowing the through meaning of christ.

Another highlight of my year would be the bible study sessions that i have every saturday night organised by Mr Kenner aka Peter. I attended it quite regularly and its good because not only I enjoy learning about God's word but also getting to know people from other countries as well. So interesting to learn about their culture and what their hopes and passion is for life and what they would like to achieve. Thanks Peter for organising it man, really awesome!

Ya so those are my highlights for 2007. There are actually so much more that I can write but i guess it would be too long so I reckon I would stop here. Overall, it has been a great year for me. I did put up with a lot struggles especially my job hunting but somehow God pulled me through and I thank him for that.

I just hope and pray that this year would be a much better year for me and i that I would keep on learning and improving and also change my bad habits. what a year it has been for me seriously. Goodbye year 2007 and welcome year 2008!
