Comedy Night With Russell Peters, Jokoy and Ahmed Ahmed

laugh, laugh and laugh. Thats what I basically did throughout the whole show last night at the Perth Concert Hall. I laughed non stop until tears also started to come out from my eyes. That just shows how funny the show was. It lasted for about 2 and a half hours but I did not regret one bit at all. It was a fabulous show indeed even though it cost me 83 bucks.

It was really worth it man, really worth it! I have not laughed like I did yesterday night for I guess my entire life so far. Hilarious, no wonder they say laughter is the best medicine in the world. It really is! I am serious, it really is. Till next time.

Back In Perth Already and Ready To Roll

yes, after 2 weeks on holiday in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Ipoh I am finally back in Perth and ready to roll. I came back on the 19th of February and as soon as I touched down at Perth International Airport at 4pm, I had to prepare for Zion peoples' graduation night because there were quite a number of them graduating that night. The people graduating were Karen, Priscilla, Kai Ting, Charlyn and Iris. Congratulations to all of you, you girls must have worked and studied hard to get your degree. Well, must have been a wonderful feeling when you received your degree i suppose. well done girls!

I had a great 2 week holiday, catching up with family whom I have not seen for about a year now so it was great to see them. I also ate so much hawker food when I was in Penang and James also told me that he has not eaten so much hawker food in his life while in Penang. Hahahaha, glad you could join me brother in eating, now thats a real holiday. Thanks for being a great host and taking me around in Penang, I really had fun.

After Penang, I stopped by Ipoh for 1 night and stayed at Jia Huei's place. She also was a great host, thanks Jia Huei for being a great host. The only problem when I was in Ipoh was the food, I did not get a chance to eat the famous Chicken Rice because all the shops that we went to were closed. It seems that it was the eighth day of Chinese New year so people close shop because of chinese believe that it is bad luck to open business on that day. golly, too bad for me. It was great meeting up with Cheah Yen, Yee Fang and Elise too. I had fun girls, thanks for everything. you girls are awesome!

I shall put up some photos below from my trip so enjoy the photos, it does bring back good memories. :)

This Is A Real Holiday

eat, eat, eat and eat. my goal has been accomplished. that was my main goal when I came to Penang on Monday and thats what I have been doing till now. I ate so many things that Penang have been famous for from Asam Laksa to Curry Mee to Ice Kacang. its funny though because my stomach has been full but still i insist on eating because its just so nice that i just cant stop eating.

Met up with people like Jeremy whom I have not seen for about a year now and also the usuals: Asher, Kenny, Sarah, Jarren (Sarah's bf) and also some of James friends like Andy and Vincent. First night played texas holdem poker and surprisingly i won. hahahha. won about 15 bucks, still better than nothing right?

currently in James house chilling out, going to have Nasi Melayu soon. it seems to be one of the best in Penang. till later dudes!

Penang Here I Come

food, food and more food. thats where i would be for the next 3 days. I would be at this little island called Penang. Well, people say it is the food haven of Malaysia so i shall know only whether they are right by eating as much as i can when I reach there tomorrow afternoon. I think the last time I went down to Penang would be like what 10 years ago. gosh thats so long ago man.

I am really really craving for the food, been waiting for a long time now so hopefully all turns out well lar. I heard a lot of people come down with food poisoning because their stomach cannot adapt to the food so I really hope that does not happen to me when I am there. hahahaha.

it has already been 4 days since i came back. What have I been doing? well, spending time with family and met up with a couple of my friends. thats about it i guess. my sister took some photos when we were at KL Hilton having dim sum for lunch on Friday so here are the photos:- (gosh i really do love my family and the dim sum as well even though it is a bit pricey). once again i would say with such passion "Penang Here I Come!"

Happy Chinese New Year Everybody!

the first day of new year is here, hooray! gosh the first thing when i landed in KLIA was like wow, I have finally arrived back home after 2 years. I know I know, i said it in my last blog but i just can't help myself, its just been too long for me away from home.

I have not eaten any outside food yet but I am sure when i go to penang on Monday, I am going to have lots of good food! hahahhaha. Went to my uncle's place for our Chinese New Year reunion dinner just now and boy was it good catching up with my cousins: Ching Ching, Hui Yi aka Cheryl, Boy boy and Jonathan Chua aka Sing Hao. its been ages since i last saw them man! good to hear that the four of them are working at the moment including boy boy who is working part time in Starbucks.

It was also good to meet up with my uncle and aunties from my dad side, it has just been too long man. Overall, I had a good chinese new year eve, can't wait for the first day of new year which is today actually. Happy Chinese New Year everybody, Gong Xi Fa Cai! Angpao na lai!

Chinese New Year Holiday In Kuala Lumpur

hooray, thats right. i would be flying off later back to my lovely home country where I stayed for the past 20 years before I came over to Perth to study. Its funny though because the way I think about it, I have not been back for 2 years. 2 years man which is like 730 days! gosh, thats huge!

I somehow cannot believe that I have been staying put in Perth for the past 2 years, I didnt fly anywhere man. I just went down south to Albany, Margaret River and Mandurah. thats about it. I mean its also due to the fact that I could have gone back when I got my PR back in May last year but somehow I decided not too. decided to stay here and find a job. ya, so I am excited because I get to see my parents, my brother, my sister, my grandma, my relatives and my friends.

its going to be so different once I touch down at KLIA airport because knowing that KL has changed a lot and so many developments have been going on makes me even more excited to know what changes are in store for me to see.

2 weeks break is of course never enough but still at least I get to go back and have good food and spending quality time with my friends and family. well, i maybe busy for the next few days or even my holiday so I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year and hope everyone collect lots of angpaos ya! wohooooo! xin nian quai le!
