Albany And Pemberton Trip

heeeeellloooooooooo, wow its been like 11 days since i last updated my blog. i guess it is going to be harder for me to update my blog from now on because i would be working full time from Monday to Friday and even sometime on Saturdays so its really going to be difficult because i would be tired when i come back and also do the more important things first that i need to do. However, i will not leave my blog outdated like for months which i used to do with my old blog so to those readers out there, dont worry, chill man. i was actually thinking of doing a few changes to my blog soon so if anyone got any ideas or suggestions to improve my blog, please let me know and i will try my best to make the blog as interesting and creative as possible.

i went to Albany with my brother, my housemate Vincent, Charissa, Inez, Nadhir, James and Joe last Saturday till Tuesday, basically a 4 day 3 night trip. I reckon it was good for me because I really wanted a break with all the decisions I have to make at the moment regarding my career and my dad wanting me to go back to KL and work which makes it like even harder for me, just putting more headache into my brains kinda thing. I guess I just love Perth at the moment, the friends, the church, the quality of life and the times I spent chilling at home and at my friends house makes me want to stay here for the moment. I mean i just got my PR like one month ago so why lar need to go back to KL so fast to work? gosh, thats what i dont understand about my dad. i know he wants the best for me, i really appreciate it but sometimes you have to make your own decisions as well. dont just rely on your parents to make the decision for you.

I have not been to Albany too so i reckon this was the best chance for me to go because I know when I start working, its going to be hard for me to go for holiday already, with all the work and the amount of leaves you can take. welcome to the working world man!. To cut the story short, i enjoyed myself during the trip and it was indeed a relaxing trip. I also can't imagine that I took 96 photos man, thats about the most number of photos I actually took for one whole trip till this far.

I would put a few photos up on my blog and also a video i took when Nadhir was playing his guitar during the first night at Albany, just ignore the guy's voice in the background, thats just me trying to be irritating, hahahahaha. I shall upload all the photos on my Photo Site (FotoPages) which you guys can click, its on the upper right hand side of my blog. enjoy the photos and video people.

First Day At Work In An Office

Go to Adams Coachlines http://www.adamscoachlines.com.au

i started my first day at work in this company called Adams Coachlines yesterday where their office is located near the Perth Domestic Airport which is along Coolgardie Avenue. I am actually working on a casual basis for one month because my boss, Adam wants to try me out for one month and see how it goes after that. If he is impress with me and the work that I am doing, he may offer me a full time position after one month. My job currently is just doing administrative stuff like filing and using theMYOB software to key in the payments and receivables for his company. He wants to find someone to look after his accounts because currently he does not have one so I am praying and hoping for the best that I would be offered a full time position after one month.

The company is a small one of around 10 people max excluding the bus drivers who drives those huge big coach buses. more information about his company and his business can be found at his website which is at http://adamscoachlines.com.au.

hmmmmmmm, suddenly i feel like putting up the company's logo. I am also the only Asian at my workplace but hey its alright, gives me a chance to mix with Aussies more, I enjoy it and i like it as well. time to blend into the Australian culture man. imagine being in Perth for 3 years now and still not really into the Aussie culture. I have to start somewhere right?.

Watched Shrek 3

wow, it has been quite a number of days since i last updated my blog. i actually wanted to write something during the past few days but somehow laziness just began to creep up on me. been pretty busy last week, doing my normal chopping and grilling the chicken at Nando's and also meeting the boss of a transportation company called Adam's Coachman on Thursday evening. Their office is located near the Perth Domestic Airport and its not that far from my house either, about 10 to 15 minutes from my house so ya I am pretty happy in terms of transportation. I just need to drive along Leach Highway, turn onto Great Eastern Highway and exit at the Perth Domestic Airport and turn at the second traffic light after the first one which leads to the Domestic Airport and I am there.

the parking is also free so i do not need to pay for parking which is kinda good because saving on parking fees does help you save a lot. imagine how much you can save in a year? i reckon a lot. going to start my first official work on Monday morning, 7am. yes thats right, i have to be at the office at 7 in the morning, that means i have to wake up at 5 in the morning which is like super early. however, i should not complain because i got a great chance of really getting an office job hey.lets pray and hope for the best.

Went to watch Shrek 3 just now at Hoyts Carousel with Cindy, her 2 cousins Janelle and Adrian who are actually on a transit flight from Mauritius and they are flying to Tasmania this morning at 5, Jessie, Patty and her sister Melissa, Cindy (she is actually a China girl and a classmate of Jessie's), Jason and Vanessa. The movie was pretty alright, had laughters and there were a few funny scenes as well during the movie. really enjoyable to watch. its already 12.50 in the morning, gosh how fast the day has gone by and it really feels like its just Monday.

the funny thing actually is I did not even watch the second movie of Shrek and I have just watched the 3rd one. oh well, i guess its not really related anyways not as bad as Spiderman i reckon. here is the trailer for those people who have not watched the movie so they know what to expect. enjoy!

here is a comic version of Charlie Brown and the gang, i just thought of ending my blog today with a comic, for a change.

Failed My Data Entry Test

I saw the opportunity to take up another job while doing my current job in Nando's. Thanks to my friend Gallen who was doing data entry for almost a year before he got a full time job in this finance company based in Subiaco, he was the one who recommended this job to me not because its super exciting but because it offers good money. Imagine working in the evening and getting paid 17 bucks an hour before tax and 21 bucks an hour before tax after 7pm, how cool is that man? don't you people reckon its good money. Well I definitely think so, its good money to me man.

However, i failed to get the job because I did not meet the speed requirements in terms of my typing. The lady in charge, Clare said that I may have a chance to do data entry for other banks but notANZ Bank because the data entry position that I applied for part time is for ANZ Bank.

Met up with Liz Wu for lunch, had a good one hour just catching up. good to see you girl, its been quite some time. We met Benedix and Yusuke while having lunch and we talk, talk and talk about relationships and about the upcoming Zion Ball which is like 3 months away. gosh, zion ball is actually coming soon, scary man. got to dress up and all, hey actually that may be a good thing because I don't really have a chance to dress up that often.

Worked in Nando's from 5pm to 10pm, super tiring man especially the cleaning up, a lot of work to do, no joke. Well i thought of putting up a video clip of the tv series that I use to love watching during my younger days: Mind Your Language. oh, it was one of my favourite TV Shows because I always laugh when I watch it, its so funny man. I really enjoy Mr Brown and his fellow students making a fool of themselves, just so entertaining to watch. Here is a video clip that I got from YouTube, you guys have fun watching it, i found this clip super funny. If you guys want to watch more just go to Youtube and type Mind Your Language.

University Students Starting Final Exams Today

stress, stress and more stress. that is what every student is thinking about right now and I dont blame them as I myself was a student before so I know how it feels like. for those people who study last minute, good luck because maybe you guys can do it but seriously for me I can't because too many things to remember at one time would only get you even more confused.

Good luck to all the students sitting for exams, I know all you lovely people can do it. Just do your best ya, dont stress! :)

Happy Birthday Charissa

oh gosh, it was Charissa's birthday today and I did not know about it until Joe told me in the car on the way to Chi Restaurant for dinner. I asked Charissa what she did for her birthday and she told me " ah well, did not do anything as everyone is busy studying for exams". Well, i feel so sad for her because her birthday falls at the wrong time especially if you are here in Australia because this is the season where everyone is busy cracking their heads to memorise and understand what they have learned throughout the semester so ya its not easy I know.

Poor Charissa, I am sure the AMS gang would do something for you after exams. The trip down south to Albany would be a good idea to celebrate your belated birthday. Everyone is stressed with exams right now, thank God I do not have to sit for exams anymore. I guess I myself have enough of exams after studying in University for 5 years which includes my Bachelors and Masters course. I do remember all the stress that I had and i can feel all the pain that all students are going through at the moment. What can you do man? you cannot run away from exams, you just got to stay strong and positive to get through them.

I would be starting a new job on Monday, a data entry job. Oh wait a minute, that actually depends if i get through the test first. I need to get through a test first to see how fast I can type so ya hopefully i will pass the test and get this part time job. its good money somemore, 17 bucks after tax per hour, not bad not bad. good money. so i would be having 2 jobs then, working in Nandos and doing data entry.

That should take up more of my time so got more things to do to keep myself busy. The video that i am going to post on my blog today is a dance video, yes a dance video. this video was actually taken during the April Easter Celebration at my church and it was performed by the Fuzion Dancers which is the dance team of my church. nice video, i think all of them are just awesome dancers, i dont mind watching the video over and over again, hahahaha. enjoy the video!

Got A Hair Cut Today

hooraaayyy!!! got my haircut today thanks to miss sarah jean lee aka the professional hairdresser. i reckon she has a lot of potential to become a successful hairstylist in the future and who knows open her own shop one day?. thanks girl for cutting my hair, the pictures above are the outcome of it. i look kinda cool man, hahahaha, nice very nice. She has cut my hair a few times already so it is indeed nothing new but i love her cutting my hair, super awesome man!

I reckon from today onwards I should put more pictures and videos because I was going through my blog for the past few days and they all have been words words and words. I know it can become boring so i have decided hey its time for a change, lets put more photos and videos on and I will try my best to strike a balance as in words, pictures and videos.

Therefore, for my first video besides the one i took on my digital camera, i have decided to feature Johnny Depp because I just watched Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 yesterday and i absolutely love Johnny as Captain Jack Sparrow in all the Pirate movies. He is so cool man and funny as well. I reckon these kind of movies suit him very well because of his character and personality. Go Johnny, you rock man!

Below are 2 videos of him, first one is the Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 and the second is when he won for Best Performance as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of The Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest during the recent MTV Movie Awards. Enjoy the videos people!

Sending Resumes For Accounting Jobs

I seem to get more frustrated and frustrated as the clock ticks away and the days just going by so fast like in a blink of an eye. Now i know how difficult it is to really apply for accounting jobs here in Perth because I seem to forget that there are indeed how many other people applying and fighting for one position. Gosh can you imagine 200 people fighting for one position? that's crazy man, absolute madness!

However, my dad gave me one and a half months and I intend to make full use of the time that he has given me. I will just keep on pressing on and try try try until I really surrender by raising the white flag. If my job applications really turn out unsuccessful, i will head back to KL because I know there are always jobs waiting for me in KL especially in the accounting field.

The problem is I don't want to go back to KL so fast, I want to earn good money here first in Perth and also I like the standard of living here, I felt I have settled down here for 3 years already. I dont feel like adjusting my life again, i mean i got great friends here, my brother is here, I also have an awesome church, what more can I ask for man?

Working tomorrow at Nando's from 11-3pm, really need the money for I am really broke at the moment. There is not much left in my bank account, can't wait for my cheque to arrive.

Long Weekend

it was indeed a long weekend for those who are working because yesterday was a public holiday due to Foundation's Day. the funny thing is when i asked people what is the true meaning behind Foundation Day, nobody seems to know about it and what is the true reason behind Foundation Day. I should ask Australians, I am sure they would know what Foundation Day means and why is it a Public Holiday in Australia.

The long weekend did not really affect me because I am not working full time in an office job yet so ya wont really feel the effect until i start working full time. I am happy though because I got 4 shifts for my duty roster in Nando's this week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I only managed to work for 2 days last week so this is a big improvement and I would like to thank my manager, Henry for giving me more shifts this week.

Let me see, what did I do over the weekend? hmmmmmmm, well for one thing, I had badminton on Sunday morning with Peter and the gang. Served in Projectionzz for sunday service in church as the service was in the evening this time. Played 75 minutes of soccer on Saturday that made me like super tired on Sunday because I used up so much energy and ran like crazy because I had to defend this super fast guy.

I am suppose to post up the pictures I took from the breakfast at Triggs which I will do very soon. ah, kind of annoying if you do not have your own laptop because you have to borrow people's one and sometimes it is not the right time to ask them.

well i guess i would just continue to send resumes and try and get recruitment agents to help as well. feeling sleepy at the moment, going to bed soon.

Breakfast At Beaches Cafe Trigg

breakfast, oh wow breakfast. yes that is indeed my favourite meal of the day at the moment. not lunch, not dinner but breakfast. I had so much fun having breakfast with my YA Cell Members at Beaches Cafe Trigg which is somewhere along Scarborough Beach. I had poach eggs with ham and bread so it was nice and oh it was super delicious man. Even though it was pricey, I really liked the ocean view because it was just simply breathtaking. Took a walk along the beach after that, just relaxing and chatting with my cell members. I will post up the photos I took during the outing soon so stay tuned for that.

Played my usual soccer match every Saturday at 3pm with my soccer team. This time we played against a Malaysian team in South Oval and we got thrashed real nicely; 5-1. yes thats right 5-1. I guess the bottom line was we did not pass the ball around well as a team and some of the goals were also the goalkeeper's error. However, it was indeed a good learning experience and i am sure we will improve on todays performance and do better during our next match.

Currently at Charlyn's house using Pia's laptop and typing on my blog while Jessie, Gagen and Pia are busy talking. its cool chilling out at their place, get to make teh tarik for them to drink. hahahhahaha. got to go soon, got badminton in the morning at 10am.

Last PASSION Cell Group For This Semester

I am pretty sad right now because it is indeed my last PASSION cell group for this semester. It has been great knowing everyone in my cell, i always love to meet new people and ya there are all kinds of people in my cell group from the irritating and funny Tim to the quiet Frank. All the jokes and laughter that we shared with each other in cell has been great, I enjoy all those times and yes they will be remembered for a long time.

I would like to thank my cell leader Joel for his guidance and his encouragement towards me, it has been great serving under you brother, you have taught me so much and i have definitely learned a lot of things from you. you have just been awesome in my life and i also want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to be in charge of worship this semester, I enjoyed taking up the responsibility and leading worship during cell.

I would also like to thank all those people who have helped me for worship this semester: Kat, Mei Yi, Cynthia and Christina. You girls are the best and i would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart because if you girls did not help me, my work would not have been much more easier seriously so thank you. i hope you girls enjoyed worship as well and I pray as you go to different cells next semester you would carry what you have contributed to this cell this semester.

To all my other cell members, you guys know who you are and i would like to thank each and everyone of you because you made the cell so lively and fun to be in. i have learned so much from each and everyone of you and i just hope you guys would keep it up, continue what you are doing because you never know. One day you may touch someone's heart and they might thank you for making a difference in their lives.

Its kind of difficult for me right now to post pictures and videos because i do not have my own laptop and my brother is currently using his laptop at the moment so maybe another time then.I am using my housemate's laptop and i am kind of lazy to install all the software to his laptop so ya, actually don't even know whether he would allow me or not too. i have to sleep soon because got to wake up early tomorrow morning, having breakfast with my YA cell members at this cafe in Scarborough Beach area. Looking forward to it.

Once again, i love my cell group this semester. it has been a wonderful experience and something that would be with me for a long long time.
